As the year winds down, and the world outside buzzes with the usual frenzy of New Year’s Eve celebrations, we offer you a space to do something different – and invite rest and connection as a radical form of celebration.

T&P Berlin’s first get-together at the lush and comforting retreat centre Drawehn in Lower Saxony will draw inspiration from the parasympathetic nervous system —those innate “rest-and-digest” or “feed-and-breed” responses that arise when the body is at ease: deep relaxation, arousal, crying, digestion, defecation and the simple joys of care for our and other bodies.

Through movement, dance, touch, and stillness, we gather to unwind and embrace intensity through slow, subtle, and why not also silly qualities. We’ll cultivate the conditions for intimacy and presence, as everybody is warmly invited to contribute a practice, workshop or ritual to create this gathering together.

Come as you are, and let’s greet the New Year together, grounded and in tender connection.

This event is a collaborative creation, offering everyone the opportunity to seek what truly nourishes them, to share what genuinely excites us and to create space for experiences that wish to come alive in the present moment.

Manu and Beata will provide tools to help us connect with our desires, dream collectively, and translate those dreams into an open, flexible schedule.

 We will also offer the chance for you to announce those wishes and offerings, that might not end up on the schedule, but could be fulfilled more spontaneously.

You are welcome to bring your own ideas, but there’s no pressure to do so. You can also relax and simply go with the flow.

Some sessions are pre-planned, however. Dino Spiri (dinospiri.com) will lead a Contact Improvisation Jam on the first evening and will offer two additional CI classes in the days that follow.

In the evenings, we aim to create spaces where everyone can come together. Manu and Beata will bring suggestions and warmly invite you to support and add your own little twists.
